Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License
- Must possess a valid Louisiana Fire and Police Civil Service Police Officer Entrance Examination Score (Score must be 75% or better)
- Must pass a Departmental Background Investigation
- Must pass a Computer Voice Stress Analysis Test
- Must pass a Departmental Psychological Examination
- Must pass a Departmental Medical Physical

Important Information
There are several steps to apply for a position at the Pineville Police Department. We are a Civil Service organization and overseen by the Office of the State Examiner (OSE). OSE provides all testing information and grade approvals.
As of August 1, 2020 the Office of State Examiner is now responsible for calling for, accepting applications, administering and maintaining the eligibility list for Entry Level Police Officer Exam. We will post for a period of 10 days for each monthly exam.
