Community Affairs Bureau Commander
The Community Affairs Bureau is a comprehensive crime-fighting strategy built on improved communication and collaboration between local police officers with our Neighborhood Liason Officers (NLO) and community residents. NLO’s greatly increases connectivity and engagement with the community without diminishing, and, in fact, improving Pineville Police’s crime-fighting capabilities.
The Pineville Police Department has long encouraged officers to strengthen bonds with the communities they patrol, but it leaves little time or opportunity for community engagement. In recent years, the Personnel Bureau has reorganized methods to achieve the goal of establishing Community city wide.
