Deputy Chief of Police

Deputy Chief Mixon is a proud graduate of Buckeye High School and a dedicated public servant with over two decades of service to the City of Pineville. She began her career with the Pineville Police Department in 2000 as a Communications Officer. It quickly became clear that law enforcement was her true calling.

In 2002, she graduated from the Alexandria Regional Police Academy and began serving as a police officer. Throughout her career, Deputy Chief Mixon has gained valuable experience across several divisions, including Patrol, Administration, Internal Affairs, and Community Affairs.

A true trailblazer within the department, Deputy Chief Mixon made history as the first female to be appointed to the position of Deputy Chief. With 25 years of unwavering commitment to the citizens of Pineville, she brings both passion and professionalism to this new leadership role. She remains deeply committed to serving with integrity, compassion, and dignity.
