You can request a report by:

 

Traffic accident reports and police offense reports may be obtained in person at the Records Bureau of Pineville Police Department, 910 Main Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Reports are $10 each and payable with money order and business checks. Personal check are not accepted.

The Records Bureau is responsible for maintaining all Police Department Records, including arrest reports, incident reports and motor vehicle accident reports (crash reports).  The Records Bureau completes data entry into the department’s records management system and handles both officer requests for information and public requests.  The Records Bureau is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (excluding holidays).

Mailed requests must include:

  1. date of the accident or offense
  2. name(s) of complainant and/or victim
  3. location of accident or offense
  4. address where report is to be sent
  5. money order in the amount of $10 made payable to the Pineville Police Department or we can now accept major Credit Cards. Checks are not accepted with mailed requests.

Members of the public may also obtain a summary of their own criminal records involving the Pineville Police Department. Requests must be made in person by the individual who is the subject of the inquiry. A valid I.D. must be presented along with payment of $10.
