📅 On March 5, 2024, Governor Jeff Landry signed a bill into law allowing anyone who can legally possess a firearm to carry it concealed without a license or permit. 🔹 Key Points: – No permit needed to carry concealed if 18+. – Open carry is allowed for those 18+. – Inform law enforcement if carrying concealed. – Certain places remain off-limits for concealed carry. – Private businesses can prohibit firearms. – Restrictions on carrying in bars and while under the influence. 🚗 Carrying a loaded gun in your car is legal. ⚖️ Felony convictions disqualify you from concealed carry. ⛪️ Churches may allow concealed carry with permission.
