UPDATE:

The Pineville Police Department has made an arrest in this afternoon’s shooting. Arrested was Donnell Jones, 19 years old. He has been charged with one count of Attempted Second Degree Murder and booked in the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

At 12:17 PM the Pineville Police Department received a report of a shooting in the 300 block of Sanders Street. Upon the arrival of patrol officers one victim was located with non-life threatening wounds. The victim has been transported to a local hospital.

The scene is safe and secure. Investigators are on scene and conducting their investigation. As more information becomes available it will be released.
