A high-speed police chase through Pineville, Louisiana, ended with the arrest of Travis Delome, a 41-year-old, white male of Jennings, LA on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to Greenwood Cemetery in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, a subject driving a dark blue Chevrolet Impala ran over graves and fled the scene. A pursuit ensued, leading officers through downtown Pineville and onto I-49 South.
The suspect’s vehicle was disabled at the Turkey Creek/Meeker exit. The driver was arrested without further incident.
Travis Delome is being charged with Desecration of Graves(3 counts), Aggravated flight from an Officer, Aggravated assault of an Officer, Obstruction of justice/evidence tampering and Possession of CDS II.
No injuries were reported during the chase and Mr. Delome is being held at the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
